Paul, Good question. It's hard to know which comes first - the changing attitude leading to better fluency, or the improvement in speech that made me think I could live with this at a certain level. I really don't know. I do know that certain therapies have targeted both my attitude and my speech, and they have both improved over time. (I still "relapse" in both, however.)
