Hi Stephanie, Thanks for your question. First of all, I would refer you to my answer to the previous post from Bridget, which may help a bit with the last part of your question. In addition, stuttering has certainly made me more sensitive to others' disablities, and how it affects one's spirit and self-image. I have learned lessons in patience and trust as well. It has also changed my preaching style into more creative formats, such as monologues, dialogues, skits, interactive sermons, etc., since my speech is better then. Out of desperation has come creativity!
