I really enjoyed reading your paper and wanted to thank you for your honesty. As a student and hopeful future SLP, I appreciate hearing personal accounts of the different things I am learning about. Regarding the emotional side of stuttering, I am curious if you feel that this aspect is being addressed more by SLPs currently, compared to when you were in therapy in grade school? It seems to me like such a vital part and, yet seemingly so overlooked. Again, thanks for sharing your experience.
