I've been reading about the lack of use of the left hemisphere as a possible contributor to stuttering. It is said that the right hemisphere takes over, but because it can only handle slow sounds and feedback it does a poor job for speech production. Is there any device that can stimulate the left hemisphere to do the job it is supposed to do?
