Bob, I really enjoyed reading your essay. It is very important to have evidence to support the treatment. However, I truly believe that without having empathy for PWS, the treatment is not as effective as it could and should be. There are so many SLPs in the field who are not comfortable with working with PWS. However, if they are exposed to more PWS and begin to experience their lives through the stories, they may gain some empathy and feel more comfortable with working with PWS. -Laura
