Hi Ellen-Marie: I think your points are right on. My comments on the "messiness" of human behavior relate more to the fact that, given essentially the same circumstances, two people are likely to behave in very different ways. I think, however, that their goals are the same - as you point out - to be happy and not suffer. Thanks very much for your comments. Bob Q.
