Hi Tony: How are things "down under" in Wichita? ;-)> Thank you for the kind words. It seems that a lot of folks are a bit paranoid right now regarding what "evidence" is. As you know, since you have probably done more reading in this area than most people, a lot of the battles about evidence that we are having in SLP today are reminiscent of battles in psychology a decade ago. I think that when we loosen up a bit (maybe when ASHA loosens up - hardy-har-har), we'll acknowldege that evidence does take many forms. I'm not opposed to consensus definitions of things, but I am opposed to restrictive definitions. Hope to see you at ASHA. Best Wishes, Bob Q.
