Your article is very interesting. It sounds like you work mostly with young children on voluntary stuttering. I have read about stuttering in young children and how girls seem to “out grow” stuttering more often than boys. Do you think gender seems to have an effect on the desensitization processes? Have you noticed that girls are better to overcome the stutters by desensitization? Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you. Colleen
