The emotions I am talking about stem from the stuttering and are usually seen among adolescents and adults. In young children (as you describe) they are likey to be components of the childs personality that co-occur with stuttering. The behaviors you describe are concerning and causes me to wonder what else might be ongoing in the child environment or whether this is a child with issues in addition to his/her stuttering. Addressing these concerns may likely be out of the scope of the SLP's practice.
