Hello Diane, Thanks so much for sharing your touching story with us. It's one that I can't imagine, but it seems like you are handling the situation well. After reading your story, I wondered if your doctors have asked you about your family history. Although it does sound like your stuttering stems from stress, it may be interesting to look at your family tree for anywho who has stuttered in your family (you may have already done this).
