As a graduate student in a Speech-Language Pathology program, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your story. It contained a personal element and was a real testimonial to the reactions and feelings you have experienced. It is interesting to me because your case is not typical of most PWS. What techniques besides breathing do you utilize to diminish or reduce your stuttered speech? Since time has passed, how do your children react now to instances when you stutter as opposed to their initial reactions when you first began to stutter? You mentioned that you brought literature on stuttering to a store clerk....do you ever speak to groups or educate others about stuttering in your community? Thanks for your time!
