Allyson, I do not use any other technics, other than just keep talking and trying not to care if it comes out stuttery.. Since I started taking prozac, the stuttering is better, most of the time, but that is because I am not so tensed up. For the most part, my kids accept it now, altho every once in a while, one of them finishes a sentence for me and then grins at me and says, that they know they are not supposed to do that! I have not made any speeches or anything, but I do talk to people about stuttering and what I have learned, if they seem interested and/or ask me a question.
