Kajuanda, I think the thing that helped the most was some pamphlets that an SLP gave me that talked about how to respond to people with a speech difficulty. That and sitting down and talking with the kids about how I could not stop and I was not doing it on purpose. They all deal with it better now, except my youngest doesn't like it when I can't talk at all, which happens occassionally.
