Hi Sophie, The Lidcombe Program is a behavioral intervention that does have as its' objective the reduction of unambiguous moments of stuttering. The program is not used in conjunction with other therapies that are popular in trying to address those attitudes that you have listed. At our clinic we have not found a need to focus on these issues with the large majority of our children, although if this were targeted by any child as a treatment objective we would certainly address it. Our outcomes indicate that there is no need to do that in the majority of children that we are treating.
