Thank you for presenting your research on effective treatments for stuttering in school aged children. The programs that you have suggested (The Lidcombe Program, ELU, and GILCU) sound like they work best when there is sufficient support from all people in the child’ environment. What are your suggestions for children who do not have that type of support from parents, peers, teachers and other community members? If the speech language pathologist is the only available person to provide positive feedback and others are not going to do so, are the aforementioned programs still viable options? Thank you again for your valuable research and information.
