Wow! Thank you for this comprehensive introduction to working with school-aged children who stutter. Just yesterday in my fluency course, our professor stated that he often does not work with children in this age range and therefore stated that he would not make many comments because he did not want to mislead us. I appreciate this information because it offers a unique perspective from someone who has researched this population. The evidence based information/data that you provide is quite beneficial for those of us who need concrete information of which to work off of. With this information, I gain a greater insight into what types of methods are used for different populations, thereby enhancing my desire to work with PWS.
