Hi, I am a first year graduate student taking my first fluency class. I was happy to run across your article. I think your assignment was a great idea. There is so much to learn about stuttering, and I think actually learning from someone firsthand is often not even thought about. You mentioned that the book you wrote (with the help of many) was for people who stutter. I think it would be beneficial for anyone wanting to know more about the disorder whether it be teachers, SLPs, special educators, parents, etc. Have you found that other people, other than people who stutter, read your book?
