Dear Dr. Wade, Thank you for the insightful paper. A question has come up for me as a student clinician regarding asking the right questions for PWS who seemingly feel that stuttering is not a huge issue for them. I am somewhat concerned about the possibility of giving my client the idea that stuttering is a bad thing, and/or that he may develop negative feelings toward stuttering that he may not have to begin with. What if the client is sensitive to discussing how he/she feels about stuttering and doesn't offer much information, even with positively oriented questions?
