John, As an SLP who integrates cognitive psychology heavily into treating stuttering and as a person who used similar modalities in overcoming stuttering, I applaud this paper. These exercises offer strategies for cognitive reorganization...which can lead to reduction of avoidance and anxiety...which can lead to greater ease in using whatever traditional fluency skills a person is using.
