Hi Barb -- Congratulations on getting your masters degree, and thank you for writing this article. I was particularly touched when you wrote about wanting to fit in and thinking that "My own feelings were not relevant. Everyone else was more valid than me." I have felt the same way for most of my life (and still do to a certain extent). I never linked it to my stuttering, though. But, I now see that being a stutterer has played a role in my developing that view. I enjoyed meeting you at this year's NSA Conference (during Russ Hicks's Iceberg Matrix presentation), and I hope to see you at next year's conference, too. *:o) Thank you again, Sophie
