Thank you for sharing your story with us! The way you wrote this essay allows us to gain more insight as to what it would be like to live with stuttering. I do have a few questions for you: Do you still continue to be a covert stutterer? Do you feel that this is an effective way to deal with stuttering? Would you recommend being a covert stutterer to others who are struggling with their speech? I am curious because I feel that "hiding" the fact that one stutters seems like it would be such an effortful and demanding task. Did/Do you feel this way? Please elaborate.
