Totally. If I were to try to say everything the way i wanted to say it, I would be like every other stutterer. I would probably be healthier in many ways as well. The fear of stuttering is so great in the covert stutterer that the avoidance behavior of stuttering can run your life. It is like living a huge lie. It really is not healthy. I am trying to be more honest and be more overt in my stuttering. I have adopted the attitude that the problem is with educating the world, not so much with me not stuttering. It is a much healther approach. Thanks, Barb
