Maybe you should ask him something, then ask him if he said the words he really wanted to say or was he substituting. You can help him "come clean" by having him say it the way he really wanted to, but stuttering all the time. Changing his voice is like being in a play. I used to do that too. It is better to own up and be yourself, stutter and all. Thanks, Barb
