Thanks for your comments Vicki. We have found that once a child is comfortable with discussing his stuttering in this type of open forum, it really helps normalize the disorder and encourages classmates and others to enlist their support as well. This idea is not new, Bill Murphy discussed these types of presentations some time ago, and we as SLP's have greatly appreciated his contributions on this topic.
