I am currently a junior working towards my undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. This semester I am enrolled in Fluency Disorders, which quickly became my favorite class. The complexity of stuttering and how little is truly known about it fascinates me. Each one of these papers opened my eyes in a new and different way to the challenges faced in Africa in regard to stuttering. Firstly, I want to say that I admire you for your hard work and dedication to this overlooked issue in your country. It is truly inspiring. Also, I was curious about your support group. Do you have any ways in which you are planning on expanding it among the population of people who stutter in E. Guinea? And, since you see such an effect on stuttering as a result of the attitudes that other people hold toward it, do you have any plans to or have you already begun educating your entire school on this issue in order to create a better understanding among those not directly affected by it? Thank you so much. Best wishes and God bless.
