I was surprised to read about the behaviors and traditions related to stammering in the Ghana culture. It seems that these beliefs bring the thought to many that stammering is curable and can be a disqualifier for potential abilities and talents. I am glad to read that the Mayor stammers; however,education remains the key. -CR
