This article was eye opening. I have family members that have grown up stuttering in the US. It is difficult enough when there are lots of social supports available. To have trouble communicating while struggling with such harsh rejection (and even danger) is is more than I can comprehend. Have you received a response to your appeal for resources and trade opportunities?
