Thank you Rebecca for your much appreciated comments. I had no previous experience of group therapy, but I had experience of group work in the professional field. I therefore adapted the same methodology to our self-help group. The core value is that each and every member is valuable and resourceful, and my only task was to create the appropriate set-up for them to get the best out of themselves.
