Hi Akintunde Adeyemi, It's disheartening to listen to how individuals with disabilities in Nigeria are ignored and or made fun of. I was sitting in one of my classes this week and my professor was going on and on about the different laws that we as SLP's need to know and adhere to. It's easy to take these laws for granted here in America and forget that not too long ago, people with disabilities were seen as being weak or a burden on society.
