Jim, Thank you for sharing your motivating article demonstrating the difference that one person can make in helping others. I am a graduate student at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. We have a fluency council at the college for children and adults who stutter. One of the main similarities that your group and ours share is the support that the members provide each other to achieve improved fluency. I would also like to commend Alain, Angele and Yasvin for sharing their stories of strength and courage to all who read them. I read in previous postings that you wanted to start a workshop for stuttering. This is something that our college does each year as a weekend long event. The goal is to provide individuals who stutter a number of experiences that they can practice their fluency from talking to someone on the phone to talking in front of a large group. What type of worshop are you planning to begin within your community? Again thank you for sharing your story. Best of wishes to your continued success.
