The Brazilian Stuttering Association is participating in organizing the ISAD campaign, in partnership with others institutions, and as a member of the national commission (Ignes Maia, Sandra Merlo, Eliana Nigro and Daniela Veronica Zackiewicz). This year the slogan is “Stuttering is not fun. It has treatment” and the campaign focus is stuttering etiology. Last year we had the participation of 16 Brazilian states, 35 cities with public activities, 10 people who stutter and 43 speech language pathologists working as local coordinators. The Online Conference located in www.abragagueira.org.br had the participation of 12 specialists in stuttering, answering 84 questions. This year we are planning several activites including a one day meeting in São Paulo with the participation of people who stutter and specialists to discuss the Causes of Stuttering. . During the week of October 16 to 22 we would like to invite all of you to participate in our second Online Conference about Cause of Stuttering at www.abragagueira.org.br It’s an honor for us to participate in this campaign and we hope that everyone interested in stuttering will join us.
