Hi Kelly, Thank you for your kind words. My police career certainly presented many challenges. I never knew what was going to happen from one day to the next. Incidentally, you may learn more about my 'escapades in uniform' by reading an article that I wrote a few years ago. The oath comprised 23 words, 19 of which I had convinced myself that I could not say. Here's a limerick that encaptures what happened when I first gave evidence in court: A policeman in court with a stutter. Whilst giving the oath caused a flutter. he said "I sssssssssssswwwwwwwwwwwwwear". Then gave up in despair. Not a single word more could he utter. Kindest regards Alan
