Mr.Badmington, first off let me say that I really enjoyed reading the story that you had to offer us. I think we spend too much time as a society embracing how much technology helps us and don't stop to realize that in some ways it may be making us less independent. My question for you is in regards to when your supervisor officer reported that you were "an embarrassment to all concerned." I think that many people don't clearly understand what stuttering is and what makes people stutter, therefore they use unrealistic judgments of defining a person, as was in your case. What are some other ways besides the internet and support groups, that you think will make people aware of what stuttering is and what it is all about? This might reduce mislabeling of stutters. Thank you!
