I found your article to be very interesting and inspiring. I never really looked at how the internet or text messaging for that matter was a way to escape from communicating with others. I just looked at it as a means of getting information you are acquiring or being able to “talk” in a quiet manner (ex: during a movie; library). Although your article was very thorough (said how long you have been a stutter, used the masker device, and why you decided to stop using the device), I was interested in knowing how noticeable and/or how big Edinburgh Masker was. How much did it weigh? Was it able to be worn comfortably with any attire?
