Hi Emily, Those who know me will be aware that I'm not shy in offering a viewpoint.;-) However, I don't really feel that I'm qualified to comment upon the suitability of prosthetic devices for children. My experience of such technological aids has been limited to their use by adults. Having said that, I have a recollection of reading an article about a boy who enjoyed success while using such an item at school. With regard to your final question, I feel it is entirely proper that parents should be involved in decision making concerning the treatment of their children.
