Hi Patricia, Thank you for reading my paper and contributing to the threaded discussion. Thankfully, the ear infections that I experienced whilst using the Edinburgh Masker (due to the wearing of ear moulds) did not continue once I had discarded that device. I'm also delighted to report that my hearing was not affected. My journey during the past six years has been so exciting and has taken me to places that I could never have imagined. And (unlike in the preceding 20 years), I have heard every word I've uttered. ;-) I appreciated your generous comments. Kindest regards Alan
