I liked that with your situation we get to see a person who has experienced both sides of the spectrum, with an assistive device and divorcing the device. I think it was with help from your motivation that let you see how you could live without fear and without the device. I am working with a client right now who does not have the motivation to experience fluency success on her own and is looking into an assistive device because she believes that this will treat her condition. In what ways did motivation play a part in your success and how might i use this to help her see that even with the assistive device, traditional therapy will be beneficial for fluency freedom?
