Hi Winston, I truly enjoyed reading your article for I found it extremely inspirational and motivating. It was interesting to read the ways in which you applied theories read in a book, to your own perceptions and actions of stuttering within your daily life. Tim Gallway’s perceptual views of “inner” self-control over ones thoughts and actions truly did apply to the struggles that you had been experiencing in facing your stuttering. The most intriguing part of your article was your analogy of “the golf swing” and replacing the word “golf” with “speech”. I felt that this was the perfect way to correlate your experiences as a stutterer with those of a non-stutterer, showing the commonality of the two. Your interpretations of this book and its effect on your own self-realization and internal locus of control pose as a great model for others to follow. Best wishes! Michelle
