John, I concur. However, my context was a bit different. When I hold an exact image of how it is going to be, I just give direction to my intentions. I'm not controlling anything, just defining them. Since my intentions are well defined and clear-cut, I move ahead with my speech, instead of “holding back”. When I “hold back”, I have divided intentions (as you would say). But, when my intentions are well defined, the forward moving “force” outweighs the “force” that pulls me back. The important point to be noted here is, I'm NOT expecting anything. As such, I'm not operating from a performance mode-- I hope! It's like I'm doing BEST what I could do, with the knowledge that whatever happens thereafter (the results) are beyond my control. What would you say? Okay, one more question: How would you focus on the experience of having fun?. (Like what do you do? Remind yourself that you're having fun? Or, access a memory of yourself having fun? Or do something with images that are your anchors of “having fun”? Etc) The reason why I'm asking is, because it sounds a bit intangible thing to do. Furthermore, you already listed one of the reasons why you focus on the experience of having fun; that being, it allows you to step aside from the validation mode. Could possibly another reason be – it serving as a distraction for your conscious mind (or self 1) so that your “self 2” can take over? This talk is interesting, and I have this feeling when it's done, I'll have something new to learn! Thank you! Best regards, Prakhar
