I know some people totally disagree, some even hate the word disabled. But remember, we are not disabled until we, or others, put up barriers. And we should make a differce who we are addressing. Ourselves and our families or politicians and employment offices. And most of all, it's easy for those with a mild stutter to say that stuttering isn't a disability, but for those who simply cannot speak or to those stuttering means a day of living hell, it most certainly is! Some people who stutter might even say they don't stutter and vice versa. Stuttering, as well as the term disabily, mean different things from person to person and that's ok. It's not what we do. It's what we do with it. Thanks for your thoughts. Anita
