Hi Tony You don't know what you've been missing! I didn't know there were other PWS until I was 27, which litterally almost killed me. Meeting others and being on all excisting chatlists about stuttering totally changed my life and I even made it over the pond to meet people from all over the world who stutter in all different languages! :-) You see, it's NOT our fault we stutter, no matter what other people tell us. And as it's not our fault, we should stop feeling ashamed of it and live our lives to the full extend. We're in this together and we're a bunch of amazing people with so much to share, to laugh and cry about and to unite our thoughts and demands. I'm so happy you're interacting in this international forum and I'm proud to be the chosen one and if my paper has helped you to find your way to chat groups and conferences you certainly made my day, as I'm sure they will make yours. Welcome to the team and I hope you can make it to the World Congress for People who Stutter in Croatia next year! Keep talking Anita PS. If you're into poems, you might like this one which gives you a short idea of the impact other PWS has made on my life... http://www.mnsu.edu/comdis/isad7/papers/bridgebuilders7/anita7.html
