I really like your persepctive on the disability issue. It truly does depend on the individual. For someone who is closing her eyes while driving, it is definitely a disability and all should want to help her,if only to save themselves. For others, they would be very insulted to be thought of as anything "less than" a whole person. The same analogy may be made of those who suffer from some mental illnesses - they may definitely be discriminated against, ostracized,and cast into the gutter with no chance of employment or a productive, happy life. However, there are also those at the other end of the spectrum who would be insulted if you treated their mental illness as a disability.
