You have made some great points that I have never thought about in terms of stuttering and how it is views. Why do you think it is that people who stutter do not view it as a disabilty? When you related it to the deaf community it made a lot of sense to me in that the deaf community speaks out and educates the public and in turn has received a lot of aid. I think encouraging all stutters to join together and have a voice will help greatly in the research and aid that goes into stuttering and it will also help educate the people about those who stutter.
