Hi Esther As we're all different as wel as our stuttering, the outcomes of a speech device is also different. It works fantasticly for some, a little for others and is of no use for the third person. But in my opion we at least should have different devices available to try, and if it works, to get one on the same conditions as a hearing aid for the deaf. I have good experiences with different devices working with the DAF function, but in Sweden there are no devices available, so we have to import them and pay for them ourselves. Not to mention getting a Speecheasy and have to try one out in the US... You might want to check out Judy's amazing site at http://www.mnsu.edu/comdis/kuster/TherapyWWW/dafjanus.html to learn more about the different devices. Other names you might like to browse for are Larry Molt (USA) and John van Borsel (Belgium). Good luck! Anita
