Hi Kassie As I wrote to Molly: Right now, while writing this, stuttering is not bothering me at all, or stopping me from writing this. (I only stutter when I speak...) Tomorrow I might have to make a phone call where people fill in the words, hang up on me or talk to the person next to me as my words get stuck. My stutter is not disabling me. It's my, and other people's, reactions towards it. The barriers were set by so many people, including me. In school and at home I was always trying, always pretending. Today it's politicians who are not providing me with a proper device, therapy or research. Employment offices who don't see the whole me. We face prejudices and discrimination every day of our lives. THAT is what still disables me. Not my stutter. Anita
