To really be able to help PWS you need to see the whole picture, which is a tough job, but so wonderful, as it's just as complex as it is intrueging, inspiring and rewarding. In Sweden stuttering deviced are not covered by insurance. Worse: we have to import then, which means some of them we have to go and buy in the USA to get it adjusted to our ears. We're talking about up to 6000 dollars here (including the trip). There have been some few lucky people who got a refund for their device or the program by the state, but those are to be counted on one hand... They arenot covered by insurance, as they are not provided for by (or even available at)the Swedish Disability Device Institute (HI). But the situation is different in other European countries and in Sweden we're working on it. (We just got a new government, so maybe...) Anita
