My device is "Keep talking". Stuttering is not our fault and as such nothing to be ashamed of. The things we don't talk about are either bad or nasty. Let's stop labelling stuttering as such and bring stuttering out of the closet! Everyone can help in our cruisade to get the word out. By announcing this conference, by becoming a member (more voices, more power), by learning more about stuttering, by spreading leaflets, by openly talk about stuttering. For SLPs and researchers to take the challenge to dig into this problem to help us find answers together (and don't hesitate to "use" us as the experts on our own stuttering we all are), to come closer to support groups and to invite us to yours. I've been a speaker on all levels and all are just as important. I've spoken to the European Parliament as well as to the local Rotary (reaching out to all local entrepreneurs), to pre-school children and teachers as well as to national politicians. Every voice that's on our side is one more. If we all use the ISAD to speak to one other person about stuttering, we already have reached out to millions in just one day!!! So thanks for asking and don't hesitate to join us spreading the word. Anita
