Hi Katia: You are correct. VR could be used as a carry-over device for practice in a safe environment (in fact, this was one of the arguments we made in our grant that got funding from NIH). In terms of when to implement it in treatment, I think the answer is unknown, but if I were using it to improve generalization of treated techniques, I might introduce it early on in treatment, rather than waiting til the end. Say hi to Profs Plonsker and Osborne for me--they are colleagues from when I taught in Minnesota! Shelley
