In therapy with children we try and create a very supportive, encouraging atmosphere The competition we have seen has actually been positive-kids are trying to practice more speech tools in order to get more self-charting marks! The idea is that we can use self-charting in many different ways, and that it is critical to teach a client how to self-monitor.
