I have just begun introducing self-charting at my clinical offsite with a child who stutters. This was one task that we were working on to increase his awareness of his speech. Once each week, we see him individually. He also attends a second day in a group with two other children who are working on articulation (that's how the schedule worked out...). I was wondering what you thought about double charting in that kind of scenario since the children are working on different aspects of their speech. Is that a situation in which you would suggest continuing with the self-charting for each child as opposed to double charting? I also appreciated the idea of doing an occasional self-charting with his classroom teacher. One of our goals is getting him to generalize his skills to the classrom, so all of this is really great! Thanks!
